Stanton Manor Hotel - a stone-built, country house hotel located in the picturesque Wiltshire village of Stanton Saint Quintin, surrounded by the stunning Cotswolds countryside.
This beautiful Cotswolds hotel is conveniently situated just minutes from junction 17 of the M4 motorway, at the gateway to the beautiful Cotswolds countryside and a short drive to the nearby town of Chippenham and historical cities of Bath and Bristol in South West England.
The house has a rich history and is listed in the Domesday Book. It was once owned by Lord Burghley, chief minister to Queen Elizabeth I, and was rebuilt in 1840. Stanton Manor hotel has been completely refurbished, and the new owners Robert and Linda Davis are on hand to ensure that a friendly and attentive service is extended to guests.
Modern facilities and comforts combine easily and unobtrusively with those of the past, which include magnificent Tudor fireplaces and stone flooring. The hotel's en suite bedroom accommodation are spacious and individually designed with very comfortable furniture. Four hotel rooms have luxury king-size four-poster beds to complement the stunning New Oriental or Provençal themed rooms. Four hotel rooms are interconnecting and suitable for large families.
Head Chef Jean Paul Giraud and his team take pride in creating traditional British cuisine with flair and quality, which is immaculately served in the elegant and light Gallery Restaurant, overlooking the grounds, exhibiting an eclectic collection of art by prominent Oriental artists. All artwork is for sale to customers and guests. Light snacks are available all day in the cosy, refurbished bar or lounge.
The hotel also boasts fully equipped function suites suitable for range of events making the Stanton Manor an ideal Wiltshire wedding venue or conference venue.
All of the hotel's 23 bedrooms have been refurbished with new luxury beds, furniture and colour televisions. All rooms overlook the gardens to the south or the village and church to the north. The rooms are very spacious and some have their own private patio area. Young families can be accommodated in the larger Family Rooms and there are wheelchair-accessible bedrooms on the ground floor.
Standard Double Rooms (4) : Double bedrooms with en-suite shower overlooking the garden or woodlands. These rooms are situated on both the ground and 1st floors.
Superior Double Rooms (6) : Good sized double bedrooms with Woodland or Church Views. These rooms are situated on both the ground and 1st floors.
Family Rooms (4) : Large rooms with king sized double bed and single bed with space for an additional z-bed or cot. All family rooms have garden views and are situated on the 1st floor.
Deluxe Rooms (3) : Individually designed rooms with a choice of four-poster beds or king sized beds. All of these rooms are situated on the 1st floor.
Super Deluxe Rooms (6) : Individually designed rooms with four-poster beds, whirlpool bath and own patio area. These rooms are situated on both the ground and 1st floors.
