The Best Western Crown Hotel has been a famous landmark in Lyndhurst, New Forest for more than one hundred and fifty years. The site of the Crown Hotel was once that of a Coaching Inn which evolved into a hotel in the early 1600s. Our beautiful, listed building is practically unchanged since 1897 and is located in the heart of Lyndhurst, the ‘capital’ of the New Forest complete with its 93,000 acres of National Park.

The Evergreen Suite is ideal for long stays or large families accommodating up to 3 extra beds. Couples reserving this room will only be charged for children’s meals taken. Up to 3 children can stay free when accompanied by two full paying adults. We are happy to serve half portions to children in our Brasserie or a selection from our children’s menu.

The Crown Hotel welcomes clean dogs with well behaved owners! – A small charge is made for this facility. We are adept at serving special meals for dogs too!
