Ardhasaig House is an award-winning small hotel on the beautiful Isle of Harris. Set against the rugged backdrop of the Harris Hills, with stunning views across West Loch Tarbert to Ben Luskentyre and Taransay, it is the perfect place to unwind.

Guest accommodation in the main house comprises 2 double bedrooms, 2 single bedrooms and 1 family room. All have en-suite facilities with either a shower or a bath and shower. The rooms are tastefully appointed, with quality furnishings, some of which are genuine antiques. Your sense of seclusion from the stresses of the outside world is enhanced by the absence of television reception in the locality and all rooms are TV-free! However, rooms are equipped with CD players so that you can enjoy your favourite music as you sample your complimentary wine, tea or coffee.

Ardhasaig House is a licensed restaurant, so you can enjoy refreshments in the attractive, well-stocked bar before and after your meal. Just off the bar area is a comfortable lounge with its distinctive purple-tiled fireplace and cosy fire. The lounge leads into a conservatory with stunning views towards Ben Luskentyre and the Sound of Taransay – a very popular location with guests on a summer evening. A seated area outside the conservatory provides the perfect vantage point to watch the sun set over West Loch Tarbert.

Katie, your proprietor has trained with some of the best Scottish chefs and provides her guests with a memorable dining experience. All dishes are based on fresh, locally sourced ingredients, cooked to perfection in the state-of-the-art kitchen and served in the elegant dining room.

Evening meals consist of a 4 course set menu cooked to each individual’s dietary requirements and tastes. Reservations must be made in advance, with prices averaging £40 per person.
