Duisdale House Hotel, Isle of Ornsay, Sleat, Isle of Skye

Ken Gunn and Anne Gracie have just taken over the Duisdale House Hotel on the beautiful Isle of Skye. Duisdale is set in lovely gardens which surround the hotel and extend to about 30 acres of wooded hillside. There are breathtaking views accross the sea to the hills of Knoydart.

The Duisdale was built as a great hunting Lodge for the Chief of the Clan MacDonald in the 1860's.

There are 17 ensuite bedrooms in Duisdale. There are several four poster rooms and the remainder are double and twin rooms.

Enter one of the reception rooms and you could find warm company and a roaring log fire, or perhaps you'd prefer a quiet corner to just read or relax, both can be found when you stay at the Duisdale Country House Hotel.

Most of our bedrooms have magnificent views of the garden, sea and mountains. Others overlook the Scots Pine Wood.

As well as twin and single bedded rooms there are four poster beds which would add a touch of romance to any stay. Like all of the rooms in the hotel the bedrooms are complimented by antique furnishings.
