Family owned country Inn and restaurant with 7 en-suite bedrooms providing good quality hotel accommodation, imaginative food, real ales and over 150 malt whiskies. In the heart of the Lake District western fells at Boot in Eskdale. The scenery is both picturesque and dramatic, with majestic high peaks, tumbling waterfalls and the river Esk winding its way through the woods.

Our imaginative menu, including vegetarian options and scrumptious puddings, is complimented by blackboard specials and a varied wine list. Delicious home-made food is available all day. Dining in our restaurant, bar or snug is always a pleasure.

We serve real ales, treated on their journey from barrel to bar with tender loving care. These include Tim Taylors Landlord, Jennings Cumberland, Hawkshead Bitter a range of guest beers from Local Brewers such as Yates and Barngates. We also have beers from many others brewers around the Country.

Brook House offers an ideal base from which to explore the many contrasts of the Lake District. From rugged high mountains to gentle riverbanks and lake shores, there is much for the experienced and novice walker alike.
