The Plough Inn is a traditional inn offering luxury accommodation north of Congleton. Its rural setting also makes it an ideal wedding venue.

If you are planning to stay in this attractive corner of the country, close to the Peak National Park and historic attractions such as Gawsworth Hall, the Plough Inn offers some impressive accommodation. In 1985 the garages at the rear of the pub were converted into eight double en-suite rooms. The bedrooms were created by top London Designer Michael Priest of Belgravia. A further nine rooms have recently been completed, all offering the same sumptuous comfort.

The Plough offers quality surroundings and good home cooked food prepared in our fully licensed restaurant. We have an extensive menu to offer you, with many fine wines and vegetarian options available!

Whether you are looking for a wedding venue in rural Cheshire, or luxury accommodation in a traditional inn, The Plough Inn is a good choice. Just off the A536 (Macclesfield Road), we are close to M6 motorway (exit at Junction 17 near Sandbach). The nearest railway stations are Congleton and Macclesfield with the latter offering frequent services to London Euston and Manchester Piccadilly stations. The 38 bus also stops outside The Plough Inn with hourly services to Macclesfield, Congleton, Sandbach and Crewe.
