Pennine Rooms : Our 18 Pennine rooms with en-suite bathrooms also offer satellite TV, mineral water and complimentary Yorkshire cookies. The rooms have recently been redecorated and refurbished.

Moorland Rooms : In Autumn 2002 we completed the restyling and refurnishing of our Moorland rooms and en-suite bathrooms, offering more luxury, more style and more amenities.

Yorkshire is already famous for several iconic British dishes that contribute to the food heritage of Britain. Our chefs have created a menu offering a range of dishes which feature local or British sourced fresh produce. Many of these dishes reflect traditional Yorkshire and British food yet in a modern style.

And we don’t stand on formality either [unless you want to] you can enjoy any dish from daily specials to the A la Carte in either the bar or the restaurant. We also offer a range of popular bar meals too, from fish and chips to a curry.

Chef’s specials are changed frequently to reflect seasonal produce with fish and game being very popular with our guests.

We have a range of ales many of them brewed locally to refresh weary travellers and an excellent wine list offering value and quality.

The Great British Breakfast, is exactly what you get, no buffet, no dried up eggs or wrinkled sausages, just cooked fresh to order. Our breakfast is a great way to start any day.

There are a number of activities our visitors can enjoy, from the adrenaline boost of go kart racing, to the therapeutic contentment of walking or cycling. The spectacular countryside lends itself wonderfully to many outdoor pursuits, including horseriding, rock climbing, sailing and clay pigeon shooting. Golf is a perennial favourite for many, but others prefer the excellent shopping in the Trafford Centre or Leeds.
