Following our recent purchase of Amerdale House we are carrying out some major changes. We are refurbishing the hotel with luxury guest bedrooms, a new restaurant, kitchen and bar and we’re planning on adding a large relaxing conservatory to maximise your enjoyment of this fantastic part of the Yorkshire Dales.

Our en-suite guest bedrooms are being refurbished for 2007. Featuring cosy yet modern furniture and accessories, your enjoyment of our accommodation is at the top of our agenda.

Free Yorkshire Dales air, fresh flowers, hair dryers, soft luxury linens, Molton Brown accessories and huggins of throws and cushions guarantee a comfortable stay and a great night's sleep.

Plans for the future include the addition of a large conservatory to bring inside the tranquillity of our mature landscaped gardens. This will create an ideal place to relax or to chat with friends on our balmy summer evenings.

Amerdale House is located on the edge of the tiny hamlet of Arncliffe, one of the most beautiful in the Yorkshire Dales with a population of approximately 60. The village nestles at the bottom of the steep sided valley of the River Skirfare – a feeder to the always impressive River Wharfe.
