The Georgian House is a bed and breakfast guest house located in the centre of London. Built in 1851, it is still run by the original family. This independent bed and breakfast offers a high standard of central London bed and breakfast accommodation, with an emphasis on comfort and warm service. The Georgian House, close to Victoria Station, is ideally situated for access to all of London. If you are travelling on business there are easy connections to the airports and rail networks from Victoria Station to: Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted and City Airports Euston, Waterloo, King’s Cross, St Pancras and Paddington stations. Overnight parking is free of charge and there is a car park nearby for parking throughout the day. All our rooms are well furnished and equipped, and decorated in keeping with the tradition of the building, which is full of interest and character. We also offer a friendly Porter Service seven days a week from 8am to 8pm. At the Georgian House we serve an excellent English breakfast. It is cooked to order from top quality ingredients, including free range eggs from our country farm (season permitting), and Musks sausages who supply our Royal family. At The Georgian House you can choose from a selection of rooms. There are two buildings with the central reception situated in St George’s Drive, and then a smaller, pretty building called the Bower House in the street adjacent. The accommodation ranges from the simple and cost effective basic rooms, through the standard rooms with private shower or bath room, to the superior classic rooms and apartments. All rooms booked directly online, by telephone or by email, include a full English breakfast. CLASSIC ROOM The classic rooms are top of the range of rooms that we offer. They are quiet and comfortable, and fully equipped. You are welcomed to these very nicely decorated rooms with complimentary wine and a carefully selected choice of teas and coffee. All rooms are equipped with a full range of digital freeview television channels including 24 hour international news and sport. The rooms also have DVD which will play music CDs, room safes, well lit work stations, radio alarms and en-suite showers. The classic rooms are situated in the main Georgian House and also in the Bower House. APARTMENTS The Georgian House Apartments are a perfect home from home in the heart of London. They are situated in a quiet residential street, just a short walk from the hotel. They are contemporary and stylish. The rooms are beautifully proportioned and full of light and space, with lots of the original features of the house, which was built in 1851. They are fully fitted and are ideal for a longer stay, or for a family group. STANDARD ROOM These rooms are contemporary and practical. They have compact en-suite showers or baths and toilets. The rooms have direct dial telephone, television and a complimentary tea and coffee tray. They are also fitted with individual safes and security locks. Many of the rooms still have their original fireplaces, ornate ceiling mouldings, shutters, French windows and balconies. BASIC ROOM The basic rooms are on the fourth floor. The rooms here are very sweet. They have telephone, television, safes, tea and coffee facilities and are offered at good value prices. They also have hand wash basin. However, they do not have private bathroom. There are shared bathrooms and shower rooms on the landing. Rates: From £65 per room based on 2 people sharing. Children are welcome. No smoking.
