Seaview House Hotel, Ballylickey, Bantry, Co Cork

Seaview House Hotel is a country house hotel providing food and accommodation in the quiet location of Ballylickey which is next to Bantry in Co Cork.

The hotel provides elegant and tasteful bedrooms that provide you with all your home comforts. Each of the generously large and spacious 25 rooms in the holiday accommodation, including family rooms and mini suites are individually furnished with fine antiques and charming country house touches. Some rooms come with sea views across the bay, others overlook the lovely landscaped tropical gardens and some are also located on the ground floor to facilitate wheelchair access. You won't find such luxury elsewhere among hotels in Bantry, or indeed among West Cork accommodation in general.

Come and enjoy the intimate atmosphere in the delightful nooks and crannies of the main dining room or dine in the lofty light-filled conservatory restaurant, overlooking the gardens, set with polished mahogany tables and crisp linen. In summer when the weather allows we often serve tea and coffee outside - a very pleasant way to end a day at Ballylickey.

The hotel restaurant is a popular dining venue with guests and locals, is well known for superb cuisine based on country house cooking using fresh local produce, complemented by a well stocked wine cellar with carefully selected fine wines. Our dinner menu with options from two to five courses, changes daily with plenty of local specials such as Bantry Bay crab or West Cork lamb.

The hotel is close to the very popular tourist destination of Co Cork which is due to its natural beauty. The area is famous for the rugged beauty of its peninsulas (Beara, Sheep's Head and Mizen Head peninsulas), popular beaches such as Inchydoney, Owenahincha and Barleycove, and picturesque towns and villages such as Bantry, Clonakilty, and Kinsale.

In addition to some of the most breathtaking scenery in Ireland, West Cork offers the widest range of activities, entertainment, cuisine and accommodation to suit all tastes. From rejuvenating weekend breaks to action packed family holidays, West Cork is truly a place apart. Enjoy it from the comfort of our hotel.
