The Albright Hussey Manor was converted into a hotel in 1990 and quickly gained a reputation for its overall quality in comfort, furnishings, cuisine and service, making it one of the best hotels in the area. All of the rooms have magnificent views of the surrounding Shropshire country side allowing you just a taste of what it was like all those years ago.
We look forward to greeting you one day soon in the cocktail bar where you can wet your appetite with a well-deserved end of day drink or a pre dinner aperitif, while doing so you can browse through our menu and extensive wine list. Our proficient and dedicated yet friendly members of staff will be more than willing to help make your stay truly outstanding.
A number of the rooms are know by names rather than numbers -'Hussey', 'Royalist', 'Corbet' , which reflects the historical connections of the hotel. The rooms are magnificently furnished with no expense spared in creating luxurious and sumptuous surroundings and making your stay that much more special. We offer 26 spacious, en-suite bedrooms, six of which have original four poster beds, spa baths and antique furniture.
The All Executive rooms are en-suite with bath and Power Shower. Most have excellent views over the Shropshire Country side. All rooms are equipped with, Direct dial Phones, modem sockets, Hair dryer, Tea/Coffee making facilities, TV, radio and trouser Press. The beds are a variety of cast iron beds, some four poster and others are hand carved solid Mahogany.
As with all top quality restaurants, you can be assured of excellent cuisine at the Albright Hussey Manor, where dining is an experience not to be missed. The Restaurant has a World Class chef who takes pride in preparing only the freshest and finest ingredients with care and imagination to create the highest standards in flavour and presentation.
