Waltzing Weasel Inn, Birch Vale, High Peak, Deryshire

The Waltzing Weasel is a Traditional quintessential English Inn - approximately 400 years old located in the walking country of the High Peak in the Peak District. Views of Kinder Scout and surrounding hills and moors, situated along side of the Sett Valley Trail. This is an ideal venue for walkers or stressed business people who want to chill and be pampered. Only forty minutes away from Manchester and its international airport, Sheffield, Stockport, Buxton and Glossop.
We have eight comfortable bedrooms, all of which are en-suite.
The Grande bedroom (Room 6) has a beautiful half tester bed and leather settee for that added comfort.
Of course, flowers, chocolates and / or champagne can be arranged for that special occasion.
Our range of rooms provide single, double and family accommodation.
We have two ground floor rooms, facilitating easy wheelchair access.
Some of the upstairs bedrooms have outstanding views of nearby Lantern Pike and the imposing Kinder Scout, at the far end of the Kinder Valley.
The Waltzing Weasel's honest English cuisine has earned many official honours, including the Derbyshire Dining Pub of the Year (1997, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2003 & 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007) and a Good Pub Food Guide award.
All our food is freshly prepared in-house and no pre-cooked dishes are used.
We obtain all our meat from the local suppliers, using traditional farming methods and rare breed animals in many instances. We offer a creative wine list, sourced through Boutinot wine merchants, growers and shippers, including fine wines and champagnes across a wide price range.
