The Bridge House Hotel, Brandon, Suffolk

Riversdie Lodge has been a family run home and business since 1984 but the house itself dates back some 500 years. It is extremely well kept with original features throughout the property and is a GRADE II listed building. The gardens are also extremely beautiful and its not uncommon to see weddings taking place here in the summer.

Over the bridge you can visit Bridge House, an extension of Riverside Lodge. As well as providing further accommodation you will find an excellent Italian restaurant for guests to use in a beautiful setting next to the river.

Brandon is a small but picturesque town in the heart of both East Anglia the enchanting Breckland Forest. Many people will know the town as a staging post for trips to North Norfolk, but the town and the forest have regenerated the area and the town is now a perfect place to stay for an active summer's break. And at Brandon's Riverside Lodge you can rest assured that the owners are doing everything they can to make you feel at home.

Brandon is in the heart of the beautiful Breckland forest, just six miles from Thetford and the A11. It is a base from which all of Norfolk and Suffolk can be reached, or a perfect stopping point on way to north Norfolk.

When in Brandon, from the town centre, take the road north toward Swaffham and Riverside Lodge is the large white house on the right hand side just before the river. Cross the level crossing leaving town and you have gone too far!

Brandon has regular train service to Norwich, Ely, Cambridge and London and is also serviced by National Express daily.

In the summer you may also wish to hire the rowing boats to take a trip up river!
