Anna and James come from a catering background and first met when they were both working for McLaren on the Formula 1 circuit ten years ago, travelling the World and catering for the culinary needs of the McLaren drivers, mechanics and support team. They have always dreamed of owning their own hotel and venue and the Norfolk Mead is the realisation of that dream. Their expertise is catering for private and corporate business and they have built up an enviable reputation with clients around the UK and overseas. Anna Duttson Events continues to run successfully from Norfolk, catering for private and corporate events all over UK and Europe.

All our rooms are individually appointed to give you a truly personal experience at the Norfolk Mead Hotel. We have Suites, Deluxe and Standard rooms in the hotel and the Cottage & Summer House in the grounds.

At the Norfolk Mead, we pride ourselves on your dining experience. We only use fresh, local ingredients sourced from the finest farms and markets in Norfolk to ensure you enjoy your meal with us and heartily recommend us to your family and friends.

Sandringham Estate is The Queen's private estate and The Duke of Edinburgh took on overall responsibility for its management at the start of Her Majesty's reign in 1952. One of His Royal Highness's principles has been to maintain the estate for future generations, so conservation has always been an important part of the Estate's management practices. Over five thousand trees and several miles of hedges are planted each year, ten wetland areas have been created, sympathetic farming practices encourage many different species of wildlife, and food waste, glass, metals, plastic, cardboard and paper are all recycled. In any season, the Heritage coast is a wonderful place. In winter, a walk along the edge of the marshes, with bracing sea air is invigorating. In summer, a stroll amid drifts of sea-blue lavender glowing in warm sunshine, stunning sandy beaches and big skies - is both relaxing and uplifting. A visit to Holt, Burnham Market or one of the coastal towns, Wells, Cromer or Sheringham, with their art galleries, museums and variety of shops, makes for an interesting day. If you like a livelier seaside resort then Great Yarmouth caters for those who seek traditional seaside entertainment.
