The Manor House offers comfortable guest accommodation located in the town of Oban in Argyll. The Manor House was originally built in 1780 for the Duke of Argyll. There are a total of eleven bedrooms in the historical house all offering modern conveniences and high quality furnishings. All of the guest rooms offer the following: Free Wi-Fi. TV. Highland Cottage is located in Tobermory, Argyll and set amidst the quiet elegance of the town's conservation area, yet only a few minutes from the hustle and bustle of Tobermory's Main Street. Being a cottage, none of our bedrooms are huge, but all are appointed to the same high standard with - flat-screen digital TVs with "Freeview", digital radio, DVD and CD players. Each room also has an i-Pod dock and hospitality tray with complimentary confectionery in addition to the more usual tea, coffee, etc. Bathrooms are fully en-suite with a full-size bath with thermostatic shower over. Iona - A dedicated twin-bedded room on the ground floor and with level access from the street and through to the restaurant and downstairs sitting-room and dining-room. Suitable for those with limited mobility and even accompanied wheelchair use. Tiree - A Double/Twin-bedded room with "zip-link" beds - two single beds or one large double bed - overlooks Breadalbane Street. Coll - A dedicated standard double room with Queen size bed - overlooks Breadalbane Street. Ulva - A superior double room - probably our largest room - and which overlooks Tobermory Bay, Calve Island and the sound of Mull. Staffa - A Superior 4-poster double room - same outlook as Ulva. Nantucket - As Staffa but overlooks Breadalbane Street. At Highland Cottage, it is our aim always to offer our guests a fine-dining experience to remember - for the right reason, of course! Our food has been consistently awarded 2 Rosettes by the AA since 2000 and we are justifiably proud of this. Whenever feasible, we use only the freshest of locally-sourced ingredients - scallops from Tobermory Bay, crabs from Croig on the west coast of the island and mussels farmed at Inverlussa on Loch Spelve - to name but a few examples.
