The Gadlys Country House Hotel & Restaurant is a family friendly hotel situated on Anglesey in Cemaes Bay, North Wales. The hotel is in a wonderful rural location and has fabulous sea views. We are a family run Hotel, built around 1897 and have operated as such for over 100 years. Recently, extensively and sensitively restored to as near its original condition as possible. There are 14 bedrooms at the hotel, each bedroom is individually decorated and furnished in Victorian décor to compliment the age of the hotel. All rooms are en suite and have tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer and a Freeview TV. There is a tastefully decorated and capable of seating 60, the restaurant /dining room makes an ideal setting for a light lunch, candlelit dinner, or for business entertaining. The less formal bar will seat 28. Afternoon teas are served daily between 3 and 5pm. The Gadlys is open to non residents. Our Head Chef offers a diverse á la carte menu with seafood specialities and dishes are prepared from fresh local produce where ever possible. We cater for Special dietary needs and vegetarians. Our wines are carefully selected to fully compliment your meal. The Lounge, with its comfortable sofas and chairs has a homely atmosphere, ideal for you to enjoy a quiet drink before and after your meal. The lounge is a non-smoking environment The Norman Court Bar (named after the Tea Clipper which foundered off Rhosneigr March 29 1883) is well stocked and comfortable. The fire is always in during the winter. The hotel stands within its own five acres of lawns and landscaped gardens on a prominent hillside position overlooking Cemaes Bay, only a short 10 minute walk down a country lane. There are many breath taking walks that start right from the front of the hotel alternately why not ask a member of the staff who would be more thank happy to recommend some wonderful days out.
